Commissioned by Open Development and in collaboration with Ronald Janssen Architects and Korth Tielens Architects, we were responsible for the landscape design of the roof gardens of this project. The indoor garden of C12-13 is accessed by a wooden walkway that can also be used as a seating element. The roof garden will feature native plantings with multi-stemmed shrubs above the columns. Climbing plants will be added to the escape stairwells. The roof garden will include a small water feature as a watering hole for birds. Wilderness walls have been created in the roof garden for insects that can also be used as informal seating areas.
