Dakdokters Studio sees the roof landscape as an unexplored second ground level. Since 2010, we have been making the city healthy by making use of the possibilities on the roof. With green roofs, roof gardens, polder roofs and roof parks, we give nature back to the city.
In recent years, we have transformed unused (roof) surfaces into places for nature development, recreation, water storage and food production in more than 2000 projects. In every assignment, from area development to private roof garden, we seek new solutions to create as much value for people and nature as possible in the restrictive context of the building.
